What is Moodz?
Moodz is a curated commerce platform built for the younger generation, where products across fashion, lifestyle, beauty and décor are organised by mood and aesthetic. Instead of searching across scattered listings, you get a dedicated space that surfaces everything matching the mood or aesthetic you select.
Do I need an account to shop?
Yes. You become a User by registering on the Platform and providing the required details. Once registered, you can browse mood-based collections and purchase Products.
How is my account identified?
Your mobile phone number is treated as your primary identifier on the Platform. It is your responsibility to keep your mobile number and email address up to date at all times, and to notify us of any change through OTP verification.
Am I responsible for activity on my account?
Yes. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your display name and password, and for all activities that occur under them. If you share your account or create separate profiles or mood spaces under it, those users can view your account information, and you remain solely responsible for all activity under your account.
What should I do if my account is compromised?
Notify Moodz immediately of any unauthorised use or breach of your password or account. If we believe there is a risk of a security breach or misuse, we may ask you to change your password or suspend your account for as long as we consider appropriate, without liability to Moodz.
What happens if I don't use my account for a long time?
If you have not accessed the Platform for a period of two years, your data — including transactional data — may be deleted from our records, and you will no longer be able to access it.
Orders, Returns & Refunds
How do I buy a Product?
You can discover and purchase original merchandise — clothing, footwear, accessories, beauty and lifestyle products from various brands and sellers — curated and organised by mood and aesthetic. Products can be purchased using the payment methods offered on the Platform.
What are the conditions for returning a Product?
When you create a return request, you must confirm (via a checkbox) that the Product is unused and has its original tags intact. If the returned Product is used, damaged, or missing its original tags, the return will be declined and the Product will be re-shipped to you. In that case you will not be eligible for a refund, and Moodz assumes no liability — including if you fail to accept the re-shipped Product.
Where can I find the cancellation, exchange and return policies?
These specific policies are found in the Help section of the Platform or in footer and are incorporated into the Terms of Use by reference.
What if I return or cancel an item bought with an offer?
If a return or cancellation drops your order below the minimum threshold required by an offer, you become ineligible for that offer. Any cashback already credited will be void and deducted from the value of the item being returned or cancelled. Any promotional voucher used on a cancelled fraudulent or bulk order may not be refunded.
Can a Seller cancel my order?
Yes. If a price is incorrectly reflected due to a technical issue, typographical error, or the Seller's product information, the Seller may cancel your order. Moodz may also cancel any order classified as a 'Bulk Order' or 'Fraud Order' at any stage of delivery.
How quickly must I report a delivery problem?
Any claim regarding order delivery — including non-receipt, non-delivery or signature verification — must be notified to Moodz within five days from the alleged delivery date shown on the Platform. After five days, it is treated as deemed delivery and Moodz disclaims liability for such claims.
Payments, Pricing & Charges
What currency and payment methods are used?
All payments are made in Indian Rupees acceptable in the Republic of India, using the payment methods available on the Platform.
Is Moodz responsible for payment issues?
No. Moodz's payment facility is neither a banking nor a financial service — it is a facilitator using authorised banking infrastructure and payment gateways. We are not liable for losses arising from lack of authorisation, exceeding limits agreed with your bank, or a transaction being declined for any reason.
Why might the listed price not be the lowest available?
A Product of a particular style, mood or aesthetic may be sold by multiple Sellers. The price shown on the listing page is selected using several parameters, of which price is only one. On the product display page you can see the prices offered by all Sellers for that style.
What fees might I be charged?
Moodz may levy a Platform Fee to keep the Platform running smoothly, charged on the overall order value and shown on your cart page. You may also pay delivery or logistics charges, which vary by order value, distance and time of day and are communicated when you place the order. Fees are quoted in Indian Rupees, and Moodz may modify or waive them at any time.
Might I need to provide identity documents?
Yes. If your purchase is at or above the threshold prescribed by law, you may be required to upload a scanned valid identity or tax document within the stipulated time. The order may be cancelled if you don't, or if there is a discrepancy between your name and the name on the document.
When does ownership of a Product transfer to me?
All purchases are direct transactions between you and the Seller. Ownership of the Products transfers to you when they are handed over to the transport service provider by the Seller.
How Moodz Works (Buyers & Sellers)
Does Moodz sell the Products itself?
No. Moodz is a venue and facilitator that connects Buyers with Sellers. The contract for the sale of any Product is strictly a bipartite contract between the Seller and the Buyer. Moodz holds no right, title or interest in the Products.
Who sets prices, delivery and warranties?
All commercial terms — price, payment methods, delivery, warranties and after-sales service — are offered by and agreed between Buyers and Sellers alone. Moodz does not control or advise on these terms.
Does Moodz guarantee product quality or descriptions?
No. Moodz does not warrant that any Product description, mood tag, aesthetic classification or other content is accurate, complete, reliable, current or error-free, and makes no representation about quality, value or saleability.
What if an item in my cart is out of stock?
If a selected Product is out of inventory, Moodz may offer you the option to select the same or a similar Product from another Seller in your cart. The price offered by another Seller may differ.
Who do I contact about a Seller or a dispute?
Disputes between Buyers and Sellers must be resolved directly with the Seller — Moodz does not mediate. You can contact a Seller by clicking the Seller name on the product listing page, or reach customer support through the Help Centre at www.moodzshoppers.com/contact
Will my details be shared with Sellers?
Yes. You consent to share your name and contact details with the Seller or brand to facilitate the service. You may be required to share additional personal data directly with the Seller; Moodz is not responsible for how the Seller handles that additional data.
Selling on Moodz
Who can list items for sale?
Registered Sellers may list items in accordance with the Platform's policies. You must be legally able to sell the items and must ensure they don't infringe the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.
What are the rules for listings?
Listings may only include text, graphics, mood tags and pictures that accurately describe your item, placed in an appropriate category and mood or aesthetic classification. All listed items must be kept in stock for fulfilment, and descriptions must not be misleading. Moodz may delete duplicate listings of the same Product.
What if my description doesn't match the item?
If the listing description does not match the actual condition of the Product, you agree to refund any amounts received from the Buyer.
Conduct, Content & Your Rights
What conduct is prohibited on the Platform?
You must not post or share content that is unlawful, harmful, harassing, defamatory, obscene, invasive of privacy, or that infringes third-party rights, spreads spam or viruses, or threatens public order or national security. You also must not use bots, scrapers or other automated tools, attempt unauthorised access, or use the Platform for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
What might get my account flagged as fraudulent?
Examples include not responding to payment verification, failing to produce verification documents, misusing another user's phone or email, using an invalid address or contact details, overusing or misusing voucher codes, returning the wrong Product, refusing to pay, excessive returns, or repeatedly claiming compensation for a fake or used order.
What happens to content I post?
Content you post may become our property, and you grant Moodz a worldwide, perpetual and transferable right to use it — including for promotional and advertising purposes — consistent with the Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of and remain responsible for content you provide, but grant us a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual and worldwide right to use it for reasonable business purposes.
Can I copy or reuse material from the Platform?
Material on Moodz is for your personal, non-commercial use only. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit or distribute it — directly or indirectly — without our prior written consent. Any use for which you receive remuneration is treated as commercial use.
Legal & Liability
Are Products and services guaranteed?
No. Everything on the Platform is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis without warranty. Moodz does not warrant that the Platform will always be available or that its information is complete, true, accurate or non-misleading.
What is Moodz's limit of liability?
Moodz is not liable for indirect, punitive, incidental, special or consequential damages. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moodz's liability is limited to an amount equal to the value of the Products you purchased. Moodz is not liable for disputes between Users.
Where is Moodz available?
The Platform is intended for sale in India only. Moodz makes no representation that materials are appropriate or available elsewhere; those accessing from other locations do so on their own initiative.
Which law governs these terms?
The Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts and applicable authorities at the city specified in the Terms of Use.
Can Moodz change these terms or suspend my access?
Yes. Moodz may change, modify, add or remove portions of the Terms of Use at any time without prior written notice, and your continued use means you accept the revisions. Moodz may also suspend or terminate your access if it believes, in its sole discretion, that you have breached or abused any term.
